The first activity has the purpose to test whether the students were attentive while watching the movie. The other two require writing skills as well as language accuracy - the students are supposed to express their own opinions, using the appropriate language functions. This film was shown to the students as a good example of living in community, how it is possible and would be desirable to ive together with people that have different traditions and culture. It applies to values such as tolerance, solidarity, respect,etc...

"This song of the Beatles is part of the film "" Minions"" and it is great to practise the past. Students have to fill in the the blanks with the past simple form of the given verbs. An extra activity may be to classify the verbs in regular and irregular. It is easy to follow and students usually like it, specially if you relate it to the film."

"The carnival is over" by The Seekers - reading, vocabulary, grammar

While I was searching for the lyrics of this song, I found some articles about it and, as the story seemed interesting to me, I decided to do this worksheet. First, while reading, the students have to put the verbs in the correct tense/voice. Then there is a true/false exercise, an exercise about hyphenated compound adjectives, a matching exercise, an exercise to match words with definitions and a final question abound gerunds. I included this one because my students struggle with gerund and with translating it. I used this together with the worksheet for the song itself, which I also uploaded today. I hope you like it!

Hello! I created a moive worksheet to work with the short story by Jan Crew "The Doll" and with the movie "Annabelle".
