The pupils will learn new vocabulary and will be able to answer short questions.The video that I chose is easy to understand, it is fun way to learn a new vocabulary for general knowledge.When? I will use this activity as an introduction to the new topic - "The Kangaroo's Pocket”.First activity: Pre viewing- Before watching the video clip, the pupils will need to match the English word to the Hebrew translation by drawing a line between the two.Second activity: While viewing-Before watching the video clip, the teacher will read and explain the questions, while watching the video the students will need to answer the four true/ false questions.Third activity: post-viewing-After the pupils finish watching the video clip, they will need to correct the false questions from exercise B. The teacher will check the answers from exercise B before the pupils start exercise C. The last activity is to answer one question and the pupils will need to draw a picture according to the instruction and the video.

01 - Hinweise zu den Lesekarten

Viele Kinder im Grundschulalter haben erhebliche Probleme mit dem zügigen und fehlerfreien Lesen. Sie müssten eigentlich täglich üben, tun es aber häufig nicht, weil ein Anreiz oder der erforderliche Nachdruck fehlen. Hier leistet die Lesekarte sehr große Dienste. Sie ist mit dem Namen des Kindes versehen und soll dessen individuelle Lesebemühungen dokumentieren. Das Kind liest täglich 15 Minuten lang und lässt sich diese Übungszeit durch eine Unterschrift bestätigen. Wichtig ist, dass die entsprechende Kontrollperson beim Üben anwesend war und notfalls dem Kind Unterstützung geben konnte. Im Laufe der Zeit sieht das Kind anhand der Lesekarte, wie fleißig es in der Vergangenheit war und wie viele Leseübungen es schon bewältigt hat. Ist der Name eines Kindes nicht dabei, dann verwenden Sie entweder die Lesekarte blanco (hier tragen Sie den Namen des Kindes selbst ein), oder Sie senden eine eMail mit Ihrem Namenswunsch an: michaeljunga@tonline. de In den folgenden Tagen werden Sie dann die Lesekarte mit dem Namen Ihres Kindes bei grundschulmaterial.de im Elternkatalog oder im Lehrerkatalog finden.
